  • Jameson White

    Managing Director

    Jameson White is a Manchester-born Director of Photography, Colourist and Producer. Present since the inauguration of the company, Jameson has lent his eyes to a roster of scripted and non-scripted projects, broadly communicating Red Hat’s strengths in ambitious, genre-led filmmaking. His most recent narrative project, ‘Leave The Body’, was formed through the outlet of his lighting and lensing on the Immunda Experiment, garnering him recognition from British Cinematographer magazine and various awards. As Managing Director, Jameson looks keenly towards the pursuit of bolder scripts, co-productions and representing new and upcoming talent while nurturing Red Hat’s innately independent legacy.

  • Abraham Dein

    Creative Director

    Abraham Dein is an award-winning filmmaker and editor. His short drama film “Mancala” won ‘Best Student Film’ at both the 2021 Monkey Bread Tree Awards and the 2022 Birmingham Film & TV Festival. In his year in Paris, he initially worked at a documentary distribution company Java Films, before becoming a studio technician at the PSG stadium for the production company Long Distance. He was also a PA on Netflix’s “The Diplomat”. Having just finished a BA course in Film and French at the University of Bristol, amassing a sizeable filmography and professional experience, he works as a freelance videographer, photographer and editor. As Creative Director, he designs and manages the website and social media.

  • Delia-Ioana Stan

    Head of Administration

    Delia-Ioana Stan is a budding assistant director, who is moving into writing and directing. Highly methodical and a strong leader, she has worked as an AD on several Red Hat films such as “Out of the Blue” and “Keep on Climbing”. Romanian born, she spent much of her childhood moving around, thus giving her an affinity for challenging, inclusive and emotionally vulnerable storytelling. This gave her the perfect foothold into expanding her abilities, having co-directed “Man On Man” in 2022. She is currently in development of writing her first short film, with the hope to direct it in 2024.

  • Jude Bourne

    Development Executive

    Jude Bourne is a writer and director with a keen eye for detail that matches his enthusiasm for all things creative. Having written and directed many shorts, from the experimental piece “Address the Court” to the LGBTQ+ drama “Keep on Climbing”, Jude has developed a versatile skill set in narrative storytelling. He finds inspiration from stories surrounding his personal experience, which allowed him to authentically explore themes of intimacy and identity in “Man on Man”. However, he is not bound by any genre, and is currently exploring the realms of crime and thrillers as he continues to push his boundaries as a creative. As Development Executive, Jude seeks to work closely with screenwriters and producers to develop and nurture projects that strive for innovation.

  • Hamish Bailey

    Marketing Director

    Hamish Bailey is a director, screenwriter, producer and editor currently reading Film and Television Studies at the University of Bristol. He has directed several films including, ‘Haus der Spiegel’, ‘Radio Waves’ and more.’ He has a lifelong passion for the arts, and blends this with the practical abilities of filmmaking. Currently interning for Hairy Chest Studios, Hamish co-founded Red Hat Productions and is immensely proud of all the progress it has made.

  • Christian Leith

    Talent Manager

    Christian Leith, an actor with approaching a decade of experience, has starred in a number of recent short films such as “Mancala”, “Leave the Body”, and “A Tail in Time”, after having transitioned from primarily stage work. His accolades include performing at the RSC in Stratford upon-Avon and a nomination for Best Actor in the Monkey Bread Tree Awards for his work on Mancala. He has a particular interest in Environmental Arts and is currently developing his skills and credentials off camera with the production of his debut short film and a documentary on ecology in urban environments.

  • Sophia Cooke

    Illustrator

    Sophia Cooke is a writer and director, having recently co-directed, produced and animated films “Revenge of the Witch Bitch” and “Haus Der Spiegel”. Having worked using stop-motion animation as a tool to create dark and absurdist comedies, she is currently writing another stop-motion short based on the painting “Ivan the Terrible and his Son Ivan” by Ilya Repin, which aims to use the discipline with a greater technical and practical finesse. Her background in illustration gives her a keen eye in design and creative elements of filmmaking, finding great enjoyment of exploring classic genres such as the classic western and folk horror. When she is not developing short films, she illustrates under the alias ‘ShyteHoroscopes’, working recently with local art collective Doozy in the launch of their debut magazine and exhibition in March 2023.
